A lot of people can learn a lot from the words and examples of Dr. Martin Luther King, whose memory we celebrate today in the US. Managers would do well to remember two of Dr. King's principles - equality and service. Remember that you are no better than the people who report to you. You just have a different job. And the more you serve them, give them what they need to do their job well, the greater your reward will be.
